It is named sea due to the influence of the ocean. Jamaica weather, like the other islands of Caribbean, has a tropical sea climate. In the daytime the sea is mostly cooler than the land. Winds blowing from the sea to the land will help chill the land. Kincaid can be represented as writer who lived in a fanciful world on occasions as her work takes you on engaging journeys and leaves you with questions. Some folks would consider her works to be of a little catalog, but she definitely grabs a large amount of attention for her modest work.
