Robusta coffees are less difficult to cultivate – and its production surpasses that of Arabica coffees — but are less flavorsome and not so reliable in quality. Before digging into the history and lore of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, we want to review the primary sorts of coffee, which are generally either Arabica or Robusta variations.
